Welcome to the HEASB "Radar River Rats" Water Ski Program.
The Radar River Rats was founded in 1985 as the "HEASB Water Ski Club", a Hughes Aircraft company club in El Segundo, California. As the Hughes Aircraft Company was sold off, the Rats became a part of the Raytheon company family. As always, membership is open to everyone and you are invited to join the Rats and share in the fun at the river.
We run bimonthly water ski weekend trips to Park Moabi on the Colorado River 10 miles east of Needles, California.
The intent of a Radar River Rat water ski weekend is to ski, have lots of fun and relax in the sun (or shade) with like-minded water sports enthusiasts. We provide the boats, skis, boards, vests, sunshades, instruction for the beginner, sandy beaches for camping and sunning, five meals, a Saturday cocktail hour and all the beer and soda you can drink at the river. Non-skiers and children are welcome to join in the fun.
You must be a member of the Rats to participate in one of our trips. Membership is open to anyone who wants to water ski, wake board, get towed behind a boat, or sit on the beach and soak up the sun.
